Enjoy your 'sit down' day, Sherrie.

Yesterday was beautiful in our area. Lots of sun and lots of dirt to play in. The wind did start to come up around dinnertime. Today is overcast and a bit cooler, still good gardening weather though. No real rain forecast until Monday night. Good! Things are beginning to dry out, and I'm not ready to pull out all the hoses yet.

Today's high temp should be closer to 60°, rather than 70° as it was yesterday.

Gonna try my hand at some container gardening this year. I need to do more research, though.

Beautiful day here. Computer says 73 and SUNNY

What kind of snake is that, Bill?

Thomaston, CT

It was 75, & I should have been working outside, BUT I was babysitting! But we were out most of the time---I just couldn't do any work.

Troy, NY(Zone 5b)

Cloudy and gloomy but in the low sixties. Wish it would finally rain we need it. Got pansy planted though. I am so itching to get more done.

Good grief. Its cloudy. There is more to life then sitting down and getting a dump run. A dump run is all the info they throw at ya in 2 days. Good grief! Robindog - Hope I remember the nick. No I am not caring for any plants. I am 99% sure they dont do it as it is hired out.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

It was just beautiful here today, finally after all the rain we had.

Mona in Metcalfe, ON(Zone 5a)

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

My weather station measured 80° yesterday! Woohoo!!! All next week looks good. Low's in the 40's. I've started hardening off my Dahlia's and Elephant Ears. Today should be in the high 50's, which I hope means in the 60's.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Wind(21mph) is bringing in a chill today. 56 degrees. Started out cloudy then the sun came out, rain expected tonight...

Thomaston, CT

Sunny today, the high was 62---not bad. Went for a 2 mile hike, but most of the day took care of DH who has the flu----temp of 101.3 this morn. Hope I don't get it!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hey all! Back from Boston. The weather was nice, but chilly. Seems the weather was nicer here at home. 56 and partly cloudy now.

South Hamilton, MA

Good, since you are away from the ocean. Marathoners want it in the 40s tomorrow.

Nasty day - 46 and raw. Rain later.

Nothing particular, Anita. Just a short visit.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

A little gray outside today after a perfectly wonderful weekend. Got 'some' garden clearing done, which is difficult to do around small children (unless they are strapped into a stroller or corralled into a pen - neither of which really works).

Went to HD to pick up some sun-loving plants for the containers on the back patio. Found English Daisy (Galaxy Mix) in beautiful colors. Went to WalMart for potting soil for the containers, which sells for many dollars less than the exact same potting soil at HD. Potted up the English Daisies, and then ended up bringing the pots inside overnight. It was supposed to be below freezing last night.

Went to the medicine cabinet for Tylenol! Slept very well last night!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Cold windy and rainy here, but we do need the rain after 11 days without.
