I was there this morning, the 4" perennials are filling in nicely. Nothing bigger yet, except some beautiful blue and pink hydrangeas. They have a lot of potted daffs and tulips left over from Easter. I picked up a cute ceramic pot and viola for a friend's birthday. They have roses and azaleas outside, maybe more but I didn't go outside. Looked like they were getting the back area ready.

The high yesterday at the farm was 38! Today it actually got to the 50's. When I walked behind the dam, a huge maple had split---a victim of the high winds yesterday no doubt. I had brought in all of my potted plants---will do so again tonight----but it's getting warmer by week's end---I hope!
Yes - not too bad today. Got the rest of my hellebores planted, and a few geranium. Tomorrow I will finish the rest of the geraniums. 51 and partly cloudy.

Good morning all, and I hope you are all thawed out from yesterday's chilly temps. Well, the temps weren't bad, but when that darned wind was factored in, brutal!
The sun is bright this morning and the wind is barely blowing. Already it's up to 41 outside. Should be much more comfortable today. I only wish that it was the weekend, as it's still too chilly for the little ones to be out more than half an hour right now. We'll have to see how the afternoon fares.

It's almost 50. It's still damp as it rained all morning. Hopefully it dries out soon.

but I got a surprise as one of my MG has opened a beautifull bloom this morning

Yucky, raw day here. No rain yet. Finished off my geranium planting. Was going to do some cleanup, but too crappy out.

Good going, Pixie---not very nice here, although I worked a few hours this morn---2 clumps of pennisetum are gone, two more to dig! Spent the afternoon in art class trying to paint pulmonaria & chinodoxa-----wish I had more blooms to choose from!
it hit 53F today and the same for tomorrow 62F on thursday and friday will be outside all day lots of cleanup to do
