Using cold water on seedlings??

At what point in a seedlings development can you start to use cold water? I'm getting tired of hauling warm water to my greenhouse and my plants are very thirsty.

I just use cold water but I am in zone 7b. Couldn't you just use room temperature water?

I always use cold tap water on mine too. I figure Mother Nature doesn't warm the rain up for all her seedlings so why should I? I've never had any trouble from doing it this way.

I use cold water even indoors... makes no difference.
