Spring Bulbs - What's Blooming? IV

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

It says right on their homepage that they will update on May 18th; both Scheepers and Van Engelen.

Kannapolis, NC

Steve: Thank you for the info on JS and for the compliment on my Shirleys.

Pardalinum: TY for your info as well. I don't always read the home pages and just went right to the listings.

I will keep checking the site until May 18.

Wow Beahive, spectacular yard you have ^_^ You didn't leave much grass, did you? I bet your neighbors are envious!

Hey - I got 10% off by ordering early. hurumf... purely a money saving tactic
I'll have you know. :-)

Bea - oooooo aaaahhhhhh... that's a glorious display! And I love both Fancy
Frills and New Design. I may just have to save more money.

I got too busy and didn't take pictures today. I accepted a request to put my
place on the garden tour for the Rock Garden society. I've gotta get this
place whipped in shape for the 5/9 event.

Dallas, OR(Zone 8a)

Tammy..you must take pictures of your yard and show us.

Steve.. I would love to get rid of all the lawn one of these days. This house was all front lawn when I purchased it in oct 2006. Little by little I think it will disapear. Running out of room to plant new things!

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

WOW New Design is a surprise and it's a beauty. Definitely a keeper!

Great garden Bea. And Tammy - what an honor to be asked to be on a garden tour.

a close up - they make great arrangements too with the tall spidery blooms. One of the few orchids that doesn't mind the cold.

white daffs - Thalia?

Leawood, KS(Zone 5b)

Hi Jmorth! Nice photos - I think the white daffodil is possibly Mount Hood or Stainless - "Thalia" is technically a narcissus and has two blooms on each stalk.

I just talked to Scott at OHG and he didn't seem to be too concerned about overfertilization. His first thought was immature bulbs. So, I will inhale and exhale deeply and wait til spring 2010.

Muscari - these are many years old, I'd thought they'd run their coarse and had removed them from my master map, but alas, they've maintained themselves in secrecy over the last year or so...
