Ta..da.. New Design bloomed fully today. Pink, white and yellow was a big surprise!! This is a keeper!

I got too busy and didn't take pictures today. I accepted a request to put my
place on the garden tour for the Rock Garden society. I've gotta get this
place whipped in shape for the 5/9 event.

Tammy..you must take pictures of your yard and show us.

Steve.. I would love to get rid of all the lawn one of these days. This house was all front lawn when I purchased it in oct 2006. Little by little I think it will disapear. Running out of room to plant new things!

Ranuculus have been blooming for about a month now.

Purple bletilla striata is the next spring bloomer

a close up - they make great arrangements too with the tall spidery blooms. One of the few orchids that doesn't mind the cold.

Hi Jmorth! Nice photos - I think the white daffodil is possibly Mount Hood or Stainless - "Thalia" is technically a narcissus and has two blooms on each stalk.

I just talked to Scott at OHG and he didn't seem to be too concerned about overfertilization. His first thought was immature bulbs. So, I will inhale and exhale deeply and wait til spring 2010.

It's a little warmer today, the rains have passed and now some mid-season tulips are opening.

Sherry ... Love those little Pinocchio's.

These are called yellow mountain. Very nice.

Muscari - these are many years old, I'd thought they'd run their coarse and had removed them from my master map, but alas, they've maintained themselves in secrecy over the last year or so...
