We are finally getting around to establishing our flower garden after 2 years of preparing the beds and landscape. My bareroot Daylilies from Ladybug arrived today and thank the Lord our cold snap was short lived. The daylilies are absolutely huge, healthy, and I am sure ready for their new home!! We are new to daylilies...but I know I am to soak the roots overnight, correct? Any particular mixture or just H2O?
Ladybug daylilies came today...QUESTION 4U from new hem head
Plain water is all I use and I've never had any problems. If they're nice healthy plants, you may be enjoying blooms before long. My DL's are well established and many already have buds on them. Good luck with your new flowers. BTW, are you aware that there's a daylily forum on Daves? Lots of helpful advice from all the experts over there.
Thank you so much for the info and I will be sure and check out the DL forum! I have them soaking now in H2O...and they thank you too!
