TY Trishann!!

Charlene.. you are asking me to cut my baby?????...lol... I'll see what I can do for you... btw.. are you referring to the orange on?

Pam... do you NOT know by now... that this is NOT the place to NOT be piggish???.. LOL.. Hey always ask!! I think I have another one, just for you!

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

Purty Charlene!!

Jacksonville, TX(Zone 8a)

Went by the Lookout today and found out there is a large family reunion there Saturday also. My friendly caretaker will try to save us our usual shady spot on the north end. I will get there before 8:00 to reserve our area. It has the large covered area and the BBQ pits.
REMEMBER to observe the parking rule and do not block fire lanes.
Folks coming from the south, Jacksonville side, the exit does not say Love's Lookout but only senic rest area. If out-of towners need my cell phone number, D-mail me and I will aend it to you.
Excited about seeing the gang and new gangsters on Saturday.

Iola, TX(Zone 8b)

Hi Texasgrower, I sure do. I have been potting up plants today.

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

DDdude... you think someone might need to be there a lil earlier?? I wouldn't particularly want to share the pavillion with a family reunion..lol

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

I'm taking this all in and have ya covered on those....Charlene, now you know why they are my favorites!! Thanks bunches...AJ...The Guara is yours.

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

Charlenesplants, I have you down for cilantro, purple oxalis and love-n-mist.and I'm getting angelina purple, passion vine and moonflower. did I make a mistake?

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Becky, don't harm any young'uns for Pete's sakes girl. Just wait 'til they get some age and save me a few cuttings this fall. You know the purty one that was opened when I came by and you gave the one sitting next to it to me to take home. Well my gift is very pretty, but my greedy heart yearns for the purtier one.

Charlene

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Phyliss, it was a typo. I had done some cut and pasting and goofed. Dde, had not asked for moonflowers and passionvine, it was lil o you. I had his name down for some reason, but I can't remember why now.

DDe, would you mind d-mailing me your cel number? I am coming in from Buffalo. Also, I don't think we have a trade do we?

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

Charlene.. that IS the same plant!! The blooms were more red in the GH, but even before i planted her in the brug bed, they were turning orange, and been orange since... I'll still get you at least one cutting. I actually took cuttings from the 2 hibs i had last fall before going to Arlington, so I'm anxious to see "what" color the other pot is... l

Palestine, TX(Zone 8b)

Beck, my list is up on the May 5th at 7:05 or something like that. Now if you'd really like another brug, I do have a rubileneXpeanut seedling for you. I have a confederate rose. So surprise me with anything else you have. When I plant it, I will go through the garden everyday and say hello to Miss Becky. (my yellow dats never germinated, hint hint, if you have any left)

Thanks Trishann. I'm looking forward to seeing the pot and the canna.

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

does anyone by chance have a small dogwood tree they want to get rid of??? If so I'd gladly take it off your hands LOL

Ok so once you get your cars unloaded we need to make sure to park in the parking spots leaving areas open up by the rest rooms for others
and we will just make sure to have the door prizes under the large pavilion so we only use one spot instead of the two like we did last year.

I didn't like this...our 30 percent chance turn into 100 percent in a heartbeat and beat out another 4 inches....jeeze..where to go to get away from it for awhile!

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

Jacksonville, TX(Zone 8a)

I think I have all plants organized for the RU. With post on many threads, I may have overlooked someone. The holly hock are sick and I am ashamed to bring them but will pick out a few of the best. Lion's tail have not showed up yet so can not bring those.
Please D-mail me if there is a real want from me and you want to make sure I bring it.
Look forward to seeing all and have a big time.
DD

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

David, any of us that have had the torrential rains of May this year, we feel your pain...but God has a way of bringing it all back from it's puny stages...ain't that great!! No apologies, circumstances beyond your control...I can't remember God ever asking me what my plans were.
Bring whatever you can, and of course, that bubbly personality.

becky I just noticed the pic of the hib up above ....wow that is pretty

Jacksonville, TX(Zone 8b)

Right in the nick of time..... whew.

Nothing like waiting until the last possible minute, huh?

Ok, as ya'll know, we're still not moved into our new house, (about 3 months to go, though!!! Whooohooooo!!!!!), so we don't have much to offer. I meant to take cuttings of some of our salvias, but just didn't get that far.

Here's what we have:
Milk and Wine Crinum
City of Portland Canna
Yellow King Humbert Canna
Lemon grass.

Kinda sad, I know....but by fall, we'll be back in business!!!

So, who has plants left????

Last year, people asked Dave and I to be very specific in our want list, so I tried to put together a small list to help us get started in the new house:

Daylillies
hostas
tropicals (for Dave)
shade plants

Iola, TX(Zone 8b)

Trish, I have a daylily or two I can bring you... I would love to have.
Yellow King Humbert Canna
Lemon grass

I may amend my plans and get there at 4:00 am if I am the back up plan. ;} Do not worry the friendly caretaker will have us covered.
dude

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

But David Dude, you invited us to your place! Remember? LOL I bet you are hoping for the thunderstorms, right?

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

come rain or shine we will be there and if DD is going to be there early we will have the larger pavilion so we should do fine and rain is good for the plants anyway I have a couple of umbrellas if needed to move the plants from the cars to our spot ...and umm last I knew none of us were sugar so we won't melt... yeah Becky your one of the ones that will say you are but I know better LOL

Iola, TX(Zone 8b)

It will be fun playing in the rain with all our gardening friends...

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

But of course I might melt..LOLOL.. I'll just make sure I bring my comfy walmart clogs..lol.. then it won't matter if i get wet.. Peg and I will try to get there early as well.. Lyle is still in TN and i doubt he'll be here fort the RU... so i might still need some help getting the fire started for the hot dogs

BTW... please remember to bring serving utensils for each food item you bring, and be sure and have your name on each...TY

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

Salt melts faster than sugar.....nananananana

"eyes"

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

well sugar salt either way LOL

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

alright Teri.. be nice..LOL... I'll have my umbrellas too just in case.. I agree with trishann.. it'll be fun playing in the rain with all my DG friends.. I can't wait to see all of you!!

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

Okay, I just have to say, I am not going to be there at 4 a.m.! We had planned to camp in Tyler that weekend, but we never got our act together and made a reservation. So, I'm planning to leave about 7 a.m., which means I'll probably actually make it out of here about 8. I won't get there until 10:30--or, if the mall traffic in Tyler is as bad as last year, maybe even 11. Will all of you early birds still be there????
