We have a hillside in need of help.
This hillside runs along the front edge of our yard. The street slopes down and we are in a corner depression so the hill runs up from our yard to the street.
Last year we planted some mini holly and some burning bushes but I think because the soil there is mostly cinder run-off from the snow plows and dirt they didn't survive.
because we are high desert I need something very drought tollerant and that will grow and spread over the hill but stay low that grows well in a very rocky area.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Ginger
Help With A Cinder Hill
Baby Tears is low growing, needs next to no water and is growing in the rocks at the edge of my driveway. It is a beautiful light green. It is listed in Plant Files on DG. Do you know how to get there?
I do! Thanks....
That sounds pretty perfect. I was readign another thread and saw "sedum" as well.
Ginger
Baby Tears is a kind of sedum.
LOL.... well I like that... Makes me feel like my research is validated!
