Mama is keeping the young ones dry.....rainy day at the nest.
Osprey Cam
Yep, severe weather warning for torrential rain in that part of Scotland today. I'll be getting it tomorrow, according to the forecast.

Even so, dad's just brought in a fish
They are looking so good now with their feathers coming in. They just has a nice meal before bedtime.
Rain again, and Mom is trying to keep them covered, which is difficult now that they are so big.
Yep, 'orrible wet day here today!
See from the log they've had another eel - hard to catch, but very nutritious, so good if they can get them.

Aren't they just wonderful. I'm so looking forward to seeing what's going to happen at the nest I was observing last breeding season.
Wow they have grown a lot!
Thank goodness Daddy finally began providing food as needed and these two managed to thrive. Too bad one baby did not survive that bad spell when no food was brought in. I think all three came mighty close to dying. So glad these did well, I enjoy checking in on them every day.
This one has been an emotional rollercoaster!!
All still going well at the moment, though!

They seem to be thriving now after a very rough go of there for awhile!!
Word is the first born chick should be flying in about a week!
It's so wonderful to watch and listen. I still find it hard to get my head around being able to watch this live from 20,000km away
They have grown so big...look so healthy!
The oldest chick fledged late yesterday.
Kind of sad in a way when I checked in this morning and saw that empty nest....
Both young and one parent back on the nest at the moment

Looks like mom & one young one now.
Just an update....seems the two chicks and the father just left the other day for their wintering grounds in West Africa. It's a long, hazardous journey for them. The mother left a couple of weeks ago.
Thanks for the update GP!
Thanks GP.
I hope they all make it safely. They say if any make a wrong turn they end up out at sea.
GP, thanks also for "maintaining" this thread. I hope you'll do the same when the nest is re-occupied next year.
We'll have to wait and hope they all return safely next spring, then we'll start up again!
