I just found Polly the heavily tressed Silkie roosting on a board about 4 inches from the dog yard.

I'm going to have to have ZZ's Cody look at my camera--I am going to go for a sixties bouffant--maybe a beehive.

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

That sounds good Catscan. I am not sure what I will be doing. I am thinking of BLING.

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Bring on the bling!

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

Okay! Here is Gertrude aka Tim.

Oh Sewincircle! Perfect!! GerTimTrude is divine. Tilly needs to develop her self-confidence. Pim is totally glamor-girl. She is da bomb-diggity-dog!

(Taylor) Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

Sewincircle-

Great Pic's Sew!!! Is Tim a she? Do we know for sure? Pim is a darling, and I think she knows it. Tim, is just cool no matter what it turns out to be. Hay

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

I really dont know. Dominique calls it Gertrude now. This poor chicken has had soooo many names. I loved Phylis (Dillar) hehehe (The hair) but Neek kept forgetting the name and started calling heshe Gertrude. It is the smallest of them all. I am leaning toward a pullet.
Yes, Pim is da bomb! She cant see at all. Reminds me of snowball!!

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

Seedpicker, the funny thing is I put them in with the other chickens and they did pick at them. They were snatching their little fuzzy feathers out and eating them! They would have more than naked necks if i left them in there any longer! :0

(Taylor) Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

Oh, I know!

I was sorta kidding, but then again, I wasn't, lol...they get jealous!!!

Ferndale, WA

Sew! Did you see the white banty that was entered into the hair-do contest. OMG it was the cutest thing. Snoball, Pim, and that white banty are just to funny. My dear wife and I laugh and roll everytime we look at their pic's. Mox has out done herself with this thread. This has been great fun. Also I have throughly enjoyed those who have viewed and posted comments, however brief. Thanks to all of you who are making this so much fun, YOU ROCK. Hay

2. Pictures of non-chickens pretending to be chickens are allowed, but can't be in the proper contest.

I thought nice chicken, then went ..."wait a minute!!", that's a duck!

LOL!!!

I have a non-chicken picture I want to post, too, but my non-chicken doesn't have webbed feet :0)

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

But they are sooooo adorable....I might have to bend that rule!

Foley, MO

My girls said that you would see it that way, as you are a lover of all animals and a supporter of DWER. At least that what they say............. ; )

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

:D I want a burger now!! hehehe

Foley, MO

Hahaha! Yes, Ducks With Equal Rights. They don't want more than the chickens, just the same. Equal grain for equal eggs produced, equal rights to compete in a photo contest, you know, the standards, lol.
