get a jack russel terrier they will be gone lol mine has taken care of the squirrels and chipmunk he didnt hurt them but he sure made them run for their little lives and they have not come back
this morning I have two downy woodpeckers fighting with the finches for nyger seed lol I didnt know peckers eat that stuff

no but they have been at my house all winter eating suet so they saw the birds and thought I had put more out so they started pecking all over the place and then went on their way
There is down right sabotage going on around here yet another new neighbor has put up 6...count 'em 6!!!!! Hummingbird Feeders......... plus 1 oriole feeder AND a hanging planter.....Arrgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saw a ruby throat hummingbird on Sat. checking out the easter egg wreath on my front door. Although my backyard is a virtual salad bar, he opted for the plastic magenta eggs!
We have had another one buzzing all around the yard today!

I had a major battle on the deck last night a second male showed up and knocked the one at the feeder right off then they went at it chassing each other all over its amazing how fast they can move me and DH loved it we always sit out after dinner just to watch the hummingbirds play around
the females are not here yet but I have seen three different males for the past couple of weeks I know there are three since I have seen them all at the same time lol wasnt sure how many at first
