Hello,
We are retiring to our ranch in northern New Mexico in June. We are going to place a rock/cactus garden in the turning circle of the driveway near our home. We are fortunate to have a large pile of stones in a field and access to several ranches' worth of cacti to the east of us.
I want to build this garden's who's main focus point will be a large stone with a crack in it so that a dried stream bed feature can meander from this point of interest. The cost of such a large stone ( think GOLD in New Mexico) and the moving and setting of it, comes at a cost I consider to be near laughable these days.
So I am seeking a firm that makes a large quality fibreglass/ urethane style of hollow rock that will last and look good. We will be traveling from Seattle to Las Vegas (NM) and can pick up such a structure along the way.
If you have had positive or negative experiences with these types of landscape structures and would be willing to share specifics, as to cost I would appreciate hearing from you.
Thanks for your help in this matter.

Want to acquire a large "fake" stone.
You can make your own. Here is the forum for hypertufa and concrete where you can read what others have done and get the recipes. The urethane or fiberglass would have to be covered with concrete eventually as the sun would degrade it over the years/decades.
