Hello everyone. Please bear with me, I am both new to this website and to growing in general. I am looking to create a fast-growing privacy screen between my house and the house next door. I have been looking for something along the lines of hybrid poplar or hybrid willows, or maybe shrubs or bushes, but there are so many types that it is overwhelming.

Can anyone suggest a certain type of hearty, fast-growing tree/bush/shrub that can provide a good privacy screen?

By the way, I am in Zone 6.

Giant thuga is an evergreen that grows fast and is a good screen. You need a year-round one like the evergreens provide.
