I think I lost my snail vine seeds

Out of the 12 only 1 looks like it's sprouting. The others look like they have white mush inside them. I scarified them, soaked in hot water for 12 hours, then wrapped them in a damp paper towel and a ziplock bag. They got loads of light and warmth. Bad seeds or did I do something wrong?
