Is this poisonous? Whats the name of this flower?

Hi there,

My 9 month babe just ate one of those from our back garden - Is this dangerous? I've been told that this is a mexican prinrose - but I don't think so,
Can sombody help?

It's definitely not a Mexican Primrose. MP's have a very large prominent pistil and 4 petals...neither of which the flower in your photo has. MP's are not poisonous.

If your child only ate one blossom, of whatever this is, you would more than likely be seeing a reaction by now.

I think I may know what the plant in question is, but will do some more searching first.

It's some kind of Cistus (rockrose) and I'm pretty sure it's not poisonous. And as Jasper said, if it was poisonous you would have seen the effects by now, so I wouldn't worry.
