We dug these up by the side of the road out in the country where we live in Ok.S.E about 2 years ago. We didn't cut any spears that came up last year and they are really growing good this year. I have them in a raised bed since we had black clay and crawdads, Yuk!
This is my second year trying to grow veggies.
We had bought dirt for the raised bed but it was "dead", I've been trying to improve it organicially as I have funds!!
I've got strawberries in it too, got them from my brother in Pinetop,Az last August and they've started blooming a few days ago,
Lots of fun for me.
