I have a 5 yr old Poinsettia in my home. It looks healthy and has red flowers. I noticed what looked like dust on it. It wasn't dust but many, many grey white flying bugs. What can I do to get rid of the bugs??
Christmas Poinsettia Plant
Oh no, it sounds like white flies! I don't know a cure, sorry. For now take the plant outside and swat off all you can. Then take your plant back inside. Go to Lowe's and ask them what to use. I tried everything on a bush outside but nothing phased them. I finally pulled the bush up and threw it away.

If they are White fly rinse the plant off first. You can try insecticidal soap first but if that doesn't work I use either Bayer Rose and flower or Orthene rose and flower spray. ALWAYS follow label directions!
When the weather permits, move it outside, starting in full shade. Insect problems are worse inside because there are no natural enemies of the pests like there are outside.
