Orion's first bloom.
March Blooms VII - the 2nd!
GoldLeaf - my club show/sale is May 1 & 2 . . . I'm narrowing down the list of possibilities . . . no chance of entering standards though, unless I enter a younger plant in the Novice category . . .
Lynn - I had won a leaf of Roulette Cherry in a club meeting raffle 2 months ago . At first, I put water in the baggie and used a magnet to hold it on the fridge. Then would forget it's there, then we moved, etc. Always remembered to keep the water fresh, but just couldn't seem to find time to "stick" it!
Gail - beautiful blooms, as always!
Hi Gail,
Still drooling...LOL.
Nichole,do you mean just a drop or two of water or part of the leaf submerged?
I hope anyone in the area can come - at least on Saturday !!
Lynn - I had about a tablespoon of water inthe corner of the baggie, and the end of the leaf was sitting in that. Probably not the 'correct' thing to do with a strep leaf, but at least it survived!

I really want to come and see what Streps Ken had that maybe were new.......I might just have to do that!
Now you mention Ken, he hasn't said if he's going to Reno or not . . . I don't know if he would go that far . . . seems he would, being the enthusiast he is . . . speaking of which, I need to go visit tomorrow . . . just used the last of my perlite supply . . .
He won't go to Reno because LLG will be there. I read it today and he only carries what LLG supplies him with in the way of African Violets and streps both.
Interesting . . . ^_^
syrumani, Best of luck in whatever you enter. It will be so much fun and a little nerve wracking and exciting at the same time.
Beautiful, Gail! Always love seeing your photos. Today I will make myself take the time to take a few. Is Aly's Mollie Howell a heavy bloomer?
Yes, she is a heavy bloomer, GL. Please take photos as I love to see streps and other gesneriads.
You will have to wait on GoldLeaf to come back. I really don't know. She is cute in yellow!
Lou--Looks to me like it is reverting back to one of it's parents, or sporting--Jim could probably tell you.
I'm sorry to be so blond, but who is Jim? Lou
He grows streps............and a few of other things. He is bigoldbuck from North Dakota but I think he would gladly admit Goldleaf is our expert on growing.
Hi!You could be right Gail.It sure does look like it.I will have to ask susan if she had that one.
Jan,
Your pictures are great! I don't know how you keep your leaves so pretty.Susan does have Sugar Plum. She sent me a start.
Mornin' Gail.
Lynn
