The tulips are blooming! Is that the sign of Spring?
If I go by the Farmer's Almanac...the last week in March will be cool, but, after April 3rd I should be in the clear from any weather problems.
If I listen to the local weatherman...who knows?
What guide do you go by? How do you actually know when Spring Has Sprung?
This Means It's Spring...Right???
I love things turning green and things starting to bloom. It makes me feel good. I have been out cleaning up winter weeds. I bought several new plants that I will plant next week. When I feel like spring is really here is when I can take my morning coffee out on the front porch and sit on the swing. Right now I have to wait till after lunch to go outside. I hope it want be long. Happy Early Spring, Smokey
Yes, I think spring is here! Although, we do have a slight chance of snow on Sunday. I still have Spring Fever though, cause I can't go out and plant. I just go by my past experiences for planting veggies/annuals. No matter how nice April is, I wait until at least May 1. We always have a surprise hard freeze after our last frost date-April 15. Can't wait for the days to take breakfast outside!
