I have an area along the front of the house that needs something fairly dense as camouflage. I was thinking of putting up some lattice that would be about 12 feet long and about 18 inches high for moonflowers. Would they be happy with that and thrive?
Does a climbing vine need to climb high to thrive?
Assuming the other conditions (amt of sun, moisture, etc) are correct for them they should be fine. Some people grow vines as groundcovers instead of climbing up anything so they don't need to be up high (unless they need sun and there's no sun down low).
