Wow! That is awesome. I am placing an order for some coir and drip stakes. Have you seen this? http://vegilandsl.com/cocopole.htm

That would definitely be worth trying don't ya think?

Where can you buy those? From that site? I didn't see prices.

No. That is the actual manufacturer in Sri Lanka. Apparently they are not sold here. I wonder if we couldn't take some netting and make a roll and then skewer it with a pole of some type. The netting would keep the coir from falling out and the plants would be able to climb. Also we could make it as tall as we wanted.

I also like the grass mats. I think we could do the same with the netting to make our own. What ya think?

They do sell them in the US, they used to sell those poles at Big Lots in CA aka Pic"n"Save..

I used them on my MGs there.

P.S.
I didn't know we had a Self Contained Box Garden Forum, I'd be interested in that going to find it now. I could use some help in my raised box beds.

Thanks Gourd.

I went searching and they are being made or imported here but I cannot find who is selling them. I found them here

http://www.americanhort.com/stakes.html but you have to call for the prices and a $100 min purchase.

And here http://www.starfiber.com/product_details.php?pid=255&cid=85&image=http://www.starfiber.com/image.php?id=149&type=Coco%20Pole#

I think it would be easier to make my own. LOL
