why isn't my 5 year old fuji persimmon bearing ANY fruit?

Planted about 5 years ago, in a sunny location gets good water and a general garden fertilizer. Its grown a lot and has lovely leaves, but has never had flowers or any fruit.
What am I doing wrong? What can I do to get some persimmones?

This site says they are typically at least 10 yrs old before they bear fruit http://www.desert-tropicals.com/Plants/Ebenaceae/Diospyros_virginiana.html
