Hee hee. Jello wresting is very good.
Hey Good Lookin' : Part Two (Or, Whatcha Got Cookin'??)
fluff & PB... or jelly and cream cheese for me
I have a lot of extra jelly from this winter as well
:(
This was, and is, my favorite sandwich, but I am the only person I know who makes it to my absolute specs:
1 bagel
1/8 pound(or a tad more) turkey
2 slices swiss cheese
1 whisper of mayo
1 small scoop of cream sheese
1 big fat slice of jersey tomato
enough lettuce to add crunch
spritz with red wine vinegar
a bunch of oregano
Oh Yeah!!! better than..
Sounds yummy.
YUMMO!!
Grilled PB and J on raisin bread. Be careful, it gets very hot.
PB & Fluff on Ritz crackers w/a glass of milk.
I like PB on Ritz - with or without cream cheese.
More than I needed to know I think.......
??
j/k ..it was the cream cheese that threw me. lol

PB and banana ! any type of bread
i like peanut with more peanut butter and two glasses of milk
Crunchy PB. OH, yes on the PB and banana.
Maria---I find whole wheat lasagna noodles at Stop & Shop---several brands. I like cream cheese & olive, or crunchy PB with any jam, or cream cheese & fig jam---but PB & cream cheese? Unh-Unh! Leftover lasagna tonight----& probably tomorrow night---unless the dogs don't mind red beards!
For years, when in grade school, all I ever got for lunch was peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Years later when I asked mom about why I never got anything else, she said that when I was in first grade I told her that PB&J was my FAVorite lunch and wanted nothing else. So, for the next 11 years, that was all I got .... never thought to question it, as we weren't all that "well to do" back then. You'd think I would hate them at this point, but I don't.
Not a big fan of cream cheese, but I do like it on my bagels, and, of course, as the sweet filling in my Pumpkin Roll!!
I do make a mean lasagna!! All about the sauce and the cheeses .... and a bit of ground sausage sprinkled over the top!
I still have leftovers! But tonight it was beef barley soup, salad, & crusty bread.
My kids are the fussiest - maybe off topic here - however nothing I make seems to make them happy.....the only thing my eldest will eat in her lunch is left over dinner - no sandwiches for her! I don't understand because that is all I ever had!!!!! GRRR!!!! Kids!!
I remember when we were kids, we didn't have the option of being fussy...we either ate what was given to us or we went hungry.
Now I see my friends giving their kids a zillion options, cooking five different things for lunch...my how times have changed!!
Yum!
That looks yummy! I've never had curd.....what is it like?
really squeaky cheese!! Kinda like a mild cheddar..
squeaky cheese... LOL... I have never tried it either
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheese_curds
Up here we put them on hot french fries and then pour gravy over it, called poutine...to die for!!
I saw fried curds on dinners drive in and dives... looked like a small cheese stick
That is something I've never seen before.
Have tried them once---not too bad---I like what is called farmer's cheese here---my Gram used to salt it & bake it in a low oven---take it out until it hardened---then baked it again a few more times. She gave it to us to chew on instead of candy.
My dad used to make his own farmer's cheese. Before he started making it we'd buy it every year to go with the babka for Easter.
yum babka!
Ya, Easter's coming can't wait.
after seeing your post I called my order in to my mom... they pick up the perogies, kielbasa, and now I asked for cheese babka... it has crumbs on the top for gods sake... to die for
oh yeah... and this is the ham I make... last year I had to warm food up in my grill the ham was so huge
only a few slices left over... even with all that other stuff

Great thanks now I'm hungry.....What kind of kielbasa fresh or smoked?
Bourbon huh?
fresh... my mom doesn't like the smoked... but I do
:)
and yes a touch of bourbon!!!
Mmmmmmm, Allison....that sounds so good!
my crust did not get crunchy like I thought it would... but it was my first time... and there was a lot of pressure with everyone watching towards the end of cooking... I was very nervous ... did not try this one out in advance like I usually do... but man was it good
What would you do differently the second time around?
