I was recently gifted plumeria cujete. What is the best potting medium so that I can keep her inside? I was told to put her on a tree branch, but it is still 30's at night and I am afraid she will die. Any suggestions appreciated.
Help with Plumeria Cujete (ramo de novia)
my plumies in pots are just in regular potting mix from lowes. dont over water as dont need it while in dormant state. no leaves. a basement or inside will do. if you want to grow her inside well light room as this is a tropical plant. and dont over water.
I don't have that particular species, but from looking at it I don't it would be that different than the plumies I have in terms of care, etc. I also put mine in regular potting soil. You might also think about bringing it outside during the warmer weather--my plumies bloom best when they get some heat and sun so they may have a better chance to bloom if they're outdoors for the summer.
