Thanks Victor for new thread, I was able to do a little work in yard. An hour a day adds up..hate to have to cut the old iris leaves (they don't pull or break off)..was very windy and leaves in driveway looked like mini tornadoes...
Have seeds planted, MG doing great, am afraid of overwatering..just mist?? or little water from bottom, but does this make it's way to top of pot??

Watering from the bottom is best, it will pull in only what it needs.

Good Morning everyone! Happy last day of winter! Whew....it was a long one this year! I think it's going to be easier to get through the days now. What are your plans for the first day of Spring? I have to work, but the location of tomorrow's workplace is a lovely old town on the river near the ocean, and when I get home,I will play with my african violets. I'd do a little Spring happy dance, but I think d-nut will have that covered. LOL!

40 with light rain. The warmer weather of the past few days has made the snow disappear rapidly. At last I can see a hint of daffodils poking up along the stone wall in my backyard!

Holy cow! I mean Holy dog! I got confused for a second. It is huge! Don't think I've ever seen one in the flesh.
It was quite impressive. Very friendly. He came right over to me to pet him. My little one is afraid of dogs so he was petrified!

You should bring him around some dogs to get him used to them..(start with the small ones)
He has been getting used to our friend's one, but we don't see him too often.
I've never been afraid of any type of animal, our friends friend is almost 50 and is terrified of dogs...he looks just a little silly shaking in his boots when he sees a dog.

after being bit when I was in 1st grade the only time I get nervous is when a dog is loose running around... the neighbors dog (not much bigger than my two) got out... boy did i have a freak fit... then i realized he was friendly and was ok with him...
or if someone owns a dog that when I look in his eyes... and just get the feeling they can't be trusted.. my co-worker has something related to a pit bull... tall thing... not sure what ... but that dog should not be trusted... one min she wanted to play... the next she looked at me like she wanted to rip my throat out ... something is way off with that one... I kept telling him.. but of course he doesn't see it.. just hope I am wrong
