South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Awe, he's so handsome! Loving his pool I see...does he ever tire of it?

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

No I had to take the water out of it when it was froze because he still wanted to play in the water. LOL

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Love the perfect 'hoop' tail! lol

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Yes I have these large hamster size things that crawl out from under the furniture. but he is not as bad about the shedding as my last Terv.

It is called a "gay" tail I think and is a fault about the only physical one he has but he only does it when he is having a good time. LOl

Get ready for your hummers! The eastern migration is moving quick. I floozied into the TX forum to find out why the western migration is pokey this year. (Good thing the TX forum is used to me floozying in about spring bulbs) Cold weather slowed them down for a bit but now they are flitting their way through TX sooooo WHOO HOOO only 3 more states to go. Of course they just HAVE to be BIG states :(

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Maria, your Golden is beautiful!!

Beautiful, Maria!

Standing is the worst for my back too.

100% Italian-American, So is my daughter. Actually 100% from the province of Naples. Weird coincidence.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

That sounds like hankypanky in Naples Dave47 ^_^

I use a wrap around cloth brace for my back in order to stand. X-rays showed arthritis, a great relief actually as I had been afraid that it was a disc.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Sorry to here that irisMA. Arthritus is not a joy :( My bad back came to me from a wild throw from the short stop to home plate. The only good news is that I caught the ball. Fortunately for me my DH (non-gardener) is willing to do what I can't. I am blessed. I just grin and bear the stooping for seeding and the digging out of the dahlias but I don't think my problem causes as much discomfort as arthritus. Thoughts and prayers that yours doesn't progress.

Outside I use the kneeler with side bars. I'm sure the advertizement is well known. Just press down on the bars & up you come. Kneeling itself is not too bad, but I have trouble getting up as my 'pushing knee' doesn't want to help. I'm afraid the arthritis is there. Thank you for your concern.

Where is Naples, Dave? My grandfather is from Positano.

Allison you should refresh your broswer they are in NC.. Little buggers!!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I think people imagine they see them! Do they have any way of verifying these claims. We should have Celeste report a spotting.

I am sure the audobaun (sp) does. That link if you look through the years is consistant within a reasonable time manner.

1 person reports in say SC reports it, it dont get posted but if 2 or 3 do then the dots will start go up. I like the site as I dont think its full of speculation. Plus I am sure the same people have reported year after year.

AND: this one the webcam in south america www.wildlifefocus.org/webcam/index.shtml

Sitting here drinking coffee at 7:00 A.M. and I saw a person fill the feeder up this morning. It was just starting to get light there.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I don't think they'd believe it...do you?

Poor DH sinking through the snow to check on his Peach tree's. I can still walk on top of the snow....he sinks BIG time. Hee hee he

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I know he's not small - I met him! His shadow helped with the sun.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)
