Thanks, Celeste. Last year's pic, I'm guessing?

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

I've been busy, busy, busy. Fired up the greenhouse and seeded another 9 trays of luvlies including tomatos, green peppers, basils and artichokes and potted, potted, potted up dahlias. Moved the babies from the indoor growop to the greenhouse and they are settling in nicely. It's FINALLY springish outside ^_^ I need to take some pics.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Cool!

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

I was going to hang the hummer feeder but I thought that might be a bit much (tee hee)

Your starting early Dnut. Is this for yourself or for sale?

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

ALL MINE. Just kiddin. Some are for friends who don't have space to start them and for seniors, and I have posted the extra tubers in the Calgary Horticultural Society forum and POOF they will have new homes pronto. I luv the annual 'Gifting of the Tubers'. It's one of my fav parts of the 'Wakening of the Dahlias Festival'.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

dnut i cleaned up around the artichokes i had and "had" may be the appropriate word. no sign of them making it through the winter - will start some seeds tonight just in case

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

ohhhh noooo wha. Do you think it was too cold or rot from snow? Maybe too early yet? Are your asparagus up?

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Yes Victor, last year.....don't rub it in!! lol

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hee hee - your day will come!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I can't see the ground yet really...here and there under a tree on the south side of the house I see 2x4 patch of earth!

Thomaston, CT

Tried to dig out clumps of pennisetum grasses---ground is still frozen, hoping it will thaw by week's end. Pulled out most of the landscaping cloth, as the dogs had dug & chewed up a lot of it. My son said to mulch heavily--I'm listening, but if there are too many weeds, he's pulling.

Stamford, CT

I am anxiously awaiting the bulbs I planted in these containers last fall. No sign of life yet. I love walking around my gardens again with a cup of coffee....can spring really be a couple days away?

Ha, poor bored people. I just got done watching the movie "Greenfingers", about English prison inmates who won major gardening awards. Maybe they just need more petunias in their lives!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes - waiting for the right warden.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Morning

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

I did Dragon wing one year. They did well. I had seed left over and they haven't germinated so I'm guessing age is a problem - use only freshly purchased seed. They were three years old.

Happy St. Patty's Day! Here's my Irish friend - patio blocks.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Oh, Victor! That was really BAAAAAAD!

Louise, I'll just go down to your little farm and put up a sign for the hummers saying that the restaurant is open at my house! LOL!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hee hee - I know. Being part Irish, I feel entitled!

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

You are always entitled, I'd say, simply because you are Irish. Ever notice how we can get away with almost anything?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

O-yes.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

^_^

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)
