beginner begonia

I just purchased a 'Mini Merry' begonia, and I've been reading up on care of it. I read that it needs more phosphorus; can I add bone meal to the potting soil to accomplish that?

It is on order from Rob's. I believe it's in a 2.5" pot. Rex begonia.

The leaves of begonias are asymmetrical, as here. Coleus have symmetrical leaves.

That is a beautiful Rex! Love the colors in that foliage. I don't know much about growing begonia's. I never had any luck with the Rex type Begonia's with the exception of one I bought at Wal-Mart last year that's still alive ... hope I'm not jinxing it by saying it here, LOL.
