Beautiful!
This thread just keeps getting better!
Good one Gary!
Something very simple to use and has to be Mac compatible.
Aww those poor little sweethearts! Great pic Dave.
See my red head??? Good thing Gardenglory did,( for a moment, I thought the lone hawks had teemed up and they were coming after my animals) lol..I know they hunt alone, so it freaked me out.
It would be so funny to have a thread of videos of us all running into the house trying find the camera when something shows up. Well maybe I should just speak for myself.

Nice ones gg!
I don't think Vultures would keep hummers away. I usually see Vultures in pairs or groups.
Can't believe it's snowing there Dave!
Good morning, Everyone. Yes, Pelletory, we're getting snow, too. We're just a few miles up the road from Dave. That is a beautiful shot of your little Chickadee. Great photos, everyone. Hoping for a blessed day for all.

LOL! Pelle, that Titmouse needs to improve his bill-to-stomach skills. Got a nice laugh from that one. All your pics are great!

Pelle, the second Junco is my favorite, great feather detail.
The last few days I've had lots of Redpolls, the most ever. The tree in front of the feeder is full of birds waiting for a turn at the feeder. Its been difficult to get much done, with so many distractions. Every time I go into the kitchen, I get side tracked, and start taking pictures.

Great pics on this thread everyone.
I recall reading somewhere that the amount of red on a male finch is determined by his diet. Likewise, females prefer to mate with the brighter red males since they should be good food providers for her and the babies. That being the case, I think this fellow won't have any problem finding a mate this spring.
I took this one last weekend at the park. Spring is definately in the air!
Thanks to an explanation from Resin last spring, I now know that the dark colored duck isn't trying to drown the white duck on the right. He's making babies. In this photo, I think the white duck on the left was actually fighting with the dark duck. … maybe trying to say, "Leave her alone, she's mine!"
I've wanted to add a Hoary Redpoll to my life list for a long time. I spent the last hour trying to get a decent look at this bird, while it was bouncing around in the spruce trees next to the house. One second I'd be sure it was a Hoary, and then I decide it was just another Common. I was finally able to snapped a couple of pictures. Sitting still on the computer screen, it looks like a Hoary Redpoll to me. Can someone confirm the I.D.? Resin or burn?
Gary, I certainly know how the birds can distract one. Very nice pics!
Jane, I love the Thrasher!
Nice Crow burn!
Enjoying everyone's pics so much!
Pelle: That's wonderful lighting in your shots from earlier this afternoon.

Sorry, just a Common Redpoll, though a very pale one. No Arctic Redpoll would ever have those heavy black streaks on the flanks, nor the black feather under the tail (at most, only very fine black streaks, and more often pure white). Also Arctic Redpoll doesn't have such bright pink on the breast, only just a faint rose flush on the white.
Resin
For me, the surest sign that summer is drawing to a close is when the Rainbow Bee Eaters start heading north. I was at the Osprey nest yesterday afternoon and although there was no Osprey action, there were dozens of these beautiful birds swarming and feasting on bees. Lots of young ones amongst them still being fed. It will be interesting to see if they're still there today or if it was just an overnight resting point before heading off again.
