my co-worker's snake plant is quite tall and about a third or fourth of the stalks are droopy and bent out of shape. Is there any way to get them to grow stiff and straight again?
We just repotted it last week and there was no evidence of root damage whatsoever. We kept the same pot and just replaced the soil and topped it up (it was a little low).
floppy snake plant
Can you post a picture?
I used to collect sansevierias, and the only time I ever saw a floppy one was when it was dead. I wouldn't hold out much hope for yours.
My snake plant did something like that and it turned out i had caught it just in time, i had over watered it and I put it in a different pot with fresh dry soil, and it is ok now I mean i may have just gotten lucky. I think you should give it fresh dirt and just watch it and i hate to say but if it dies it dies there wasn't anything that could have been done.
