Afternoon sistahs. Well, I need ya'lls prayers. Ashley may be induced into labor before the weeks out. Her blood pressure is too high. She's in the hospital now waiting on the doctor to make a decision. Her doctor says if her bottom number (i forget what that one is called) stays over 100 then she'll go ahead with the delivery of Riley 6 weeks early. Her doctor is not going to be availalbe this week end, so if Ashley's blood pressure keeps fluctuating then delivery before the doctor leaves will be done. Does that sound right?

Sending prayers for a quick, and safe delivery for the new baby!
I did not make that cake, I found it on the internet!
I wish I could make things like that.

on my youngest, I was having problems, and they watched my BP every second. think my OB/GYN said four weeks early was fairly safe, eight weeks was pushing it. made it to one week, thank God, before they induced me when I'd fainted yet again. for they were expecting a 8.5lb baby and got a 6lb baby and over a gallon of water on the floor, which stunned them - DD turns 17 next week! 17 years later, wouldn't 6 weeks be ok?

had a co-worker 2 years ago, early delivery due to baby caused diabetes. I must have called the ambulance 3 times for that girl before they decided to induce her! but they induced 4 weeks early.

baby, mom and grandma are now in my prayers.

Oh, Dear... Deborah... I do pray it will be ok for baby and the mom... you just hang in there... I can see you walking the floors now.

Bonnie... it is a little pot (looks like a tea pot)... and you hold over the sink and pour the saline solution through one nostril... it comes out the other nostril with all that nasty stuff that's congesting your sinuses... after you do it... you're suppose to feel so much better.

Shhhh... Don's taking a nap... it's cold and rainy, so a nap must feel nice right now. I had to quit making noise, so I worked on my Spring Swap gift... almost all done... but I need to get it in the mail by Friday, because I'll be out of town next week.

Bonnie, I'm using "Neil Med Sinus Rinse". Unlike a neti pot, it's a bottle with a cap and a tube running through it. At one end of the cap, there's a hole. You mix the saline plus water in the bottle, bend forward, tilt your head and place the cap against one nostril. Squeeze the bottle, and you'll get a flushing motion up the nostril, down the other.
I hear some saying "Yuck"!! I rather do this then suffer with my sinuses!!
I kept getting chronic sinus infection, and when I asked my doctor a few months back about a neti pot(recommended by some sistahs) he hurriedly gave me this box that has the bottle and a couple of saline packets. This doctor is not a homeopathic, but he's glad I'm made aware of neti pots. He uses it for himself.

Well, Jaye... Don was so tired when he came home that he came in the back door and sat down at the bar and said "I'm hungry".... I made him a frozen pizza, and asked him if he would like to take a stroll down the red brick path... so, he did... came in... and said "That's nice"... then, he went to bed to take a nap. He's still asleep.
He worked 16 hours yesterday, slept 4 hours... was up at 4am to catch a plane this morn... so, he deserves to sleep. I'll wake him up in a bit for dinner... then he'll go right back to bed...

Well, I just wrote all that, then walked away to cook dinner... never hit send... so, all that is old news now.

First off on the sinus deal......*knocks on wood first* I have not had a full blown infection in a number of years now and not sure why as I used to get them at least twice a year .. What I have found works really well for me is to take extra vitamin C tablets ( get the ones from GNC) and chicken broth or chickie noodle soup when ever I feel like it is coming on and what ever it is it seems to take care of it.

now as to Bonnie's question...hahahahaha....Antonio sounds good to me I could give ya a big list of things that come to mind but not really possible.
I almost went to Coffee city this week and picked up some Mike's hard lemonade or a bottle of resling wine but then stopped and said no as step son would probably drink it and I wouldn't get but just a little of it.
