I agree you can propagate your philodendron any time now. The weather is really warming up here in the south and plants are beginning to grow again.

Which Philo do you have? Is it the Monstera deliciosa: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/1204/ or the cut leaf Philo? http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/37036/
