I'm studying floral design and wish to understand inflorescence in regards to umbel forms of flowers. I understand that agapanthus, polyanthus, frittaloria and nerine sp. are examples of umbel inflorescence. I was wondering if those little jonquils were too as they have lots of flower stalks on top of the stem, unlike the standard daffodil.
My question is: Narcissus tanzetta - is it an umbel?
