I recently planted a Bower vine (Clerodendrum thomsoniae) alongside a trellis, and I was wondering if it's a good idea to plant a Glory lily (Gloriosa superba) close by? I want them to intertwine, because of the gloriosa's sparse foliage. Tropical vine gurus please help!
The Bower and the Glory
I don't think you'll get to see much of the lily. It will be hidden by the bower vine. I keep my glory lilies on a smaller trellis all to themselves, so I can see them. They're too interesting to miss!
