Hi again !
I live in NJ, zone 6.
I would like some ideas in how to take care of my lawn.
I have a small back yard with a tree (some shadow) but I have a lot of sunlight in the day.
my Lawn looks decent but under the tree is poor.
Spring is comming and I would like to know some tips in order to get rid off dandelios, crab grass, weed !
What kind of lawn I should have for my yard (zone 6, sunny and dark places)
Thank you ~~~
Help with my back yard !!!
If you actually want to keep a lawn (a lot of people on DG will tell you to rip it all up and put in gardens)
Just use the Scott's lawn products(4 step program) and your lawn will look wonderful. You'll start in spring with a pre-emergent.
You can do a groundcover under the tree. You don't want to add any extra soil over the roots, though, because that will slowly kill the tree.
