Lavender Camillias

Palo Alto, CA

Do they exist? And, if so, do you have a name? My landscaper put them on my plan without a name, but I'm unable to find even a picture of them on the Internet.

Thank you.

I don't think there's any such thing as a lavender camellia. Maybe there is, though...

I've never seen any but if they exist, I'd sure love to find one! I have a lavender crepe myrtle tree that I just love.

This got my curiosity up so I ran a quick search for lavender colored camellias. I only found one site that mentions a lavender camellia but it describes it as "lavender/pink."

Their picture looks more pink to me though.

I've never seen a lavender Camellia and our nursery buys from one of the best Camellia growers in the southeast, CamToo Nursery. There is a cultivar called Lavender Prince but I've seen it bloom and it is far from lavender. Besides, if the landscaper didn't give you specific cultivar you can pick whatever the heck you like :)
