how horrible, and it looks like the first small one was just to get the cameras on for the big plane. :(

OMGosh - they say a 737 was hijacked and purposely crashed.

They're calling it a terrorist attack. Perhaps one or both planes were hijacked. Yikes!

New York will be at a stand still with airpots closed and the tunnel closed. Just not good at all.

I will never understand why people want to hurt others. I understand having a cause but there are better ways to get a point across. What point do these people think they are making? I feel so bad for those killed and for their families and friends.

A bomb at the Pentagon heliport? Some deliberate explosion for sure.

CNN is reporting that there is a fire at the Pentagon (several hundred yard wide smoke plume), and it is being evacuated.

They also just said that the White House is being evacuated, but they did not say why.

My husband went with some friends to a farm trade show. I so wish he was somewhere that I could at least talk to him. Bryant Gumble just said "it would seem that our country is under attack".

The Pentagon was hit by a 767... all govt. buildings are being evacuated, all major building across the Us- Chicago, etc., and also the FAAA has grounded ALL planes from taking off!! One of the planes that hit the World trade center is a confirmed american Airlines flight that was highjacked out of Boston going to La.

Now the World Trade Center is collapsing. How sick, how sad! Forces me to worry about what will happen next. I woke up having a bad day. I looked outside and there was a cardinal, a blue bird, a hummer and a few other birds pecking at plants on my deck. The sight of all those birds, there together brightened my thoughts. Then I turned on the Tv. What is wrong with people?

But, God is in control! Despite the horrendous things now happening, despite moe attempts that may come, He is in control. Those who know Him need to pray that He intervenes, mightily and swiftly!

A nightmare!Teary as I watch the news .Prayers to those that are injured and to the families that might have fallen ones. Terrorists, they will do anything to hurt the USA . They have no hearts! A good, good friend of mine is a Secret Service agent who guards the president- they are now in safe hiding along with other important govt,. officials.... He rushed a phone cal in to me at my work- a church- that we all pray....
he wasn;t specificnor could I hear well because of the noise, but I think he said the president requested that people pray...
