I just got these plants in the mail the other day..a couple of them look pretty sad especially my Erythrina Herbecea but the others look like they will end up fine..i'm a little worried about my Biophytum Sensitivum but in the end i think it will be okay. I stirred up some nutes for them in pretty low doses..I think the ratio is 18-18-24 and i put in about 1/4tsp in 1/3 of a gallon of distilled water i had laying around and watered them with that right out of the box...I'm trying to get them a lot of light so they'll wake up and look perkier...is there anything else i can do to help my Erythrina Herbecea? I was thinking of spraying some nutes on it's leaves but is that recommended or not with these types of plants?
This is all of the plants:

Coral Bean lookin sad!
Give it a few days to a week to perk up again. If you got it in the post then it'll be upset and sulking a bit - it will perk it's self up within a few days to a week.
I agree, give it some time. I would not fertilize things that are under stress from shipping, it's better to wait until it's perked back up again first. And I'd also watch the light--they've been in a dark box for a while so you need to adjust them gradually to higher levels of light or else it can make them worse. Also I don't know where you got these from, but chances are they were in a greenhouse with a higher humidity level and now you have them in your house where the humidity is very low and that can cause stress too--you might try placing a tray of water in the area where the plants are to get the humidity up a little bit. I can't speak for the Biophytum but the Erythrina will adjust to lower humidity eventually, it just helps to get it there gradually rather than all of a sudden. Also Erythrina herbacea dies back every winter--I'm not sure how it behaves if someone was growing it in a greenhouse but outside it would die all the way back so that could also explain why it looks a little ratty.
Oh phew. thanks. I'll stop the nutes for a week or two. I only watered them once with a tiny bit of them so i don't think it will hurt them. i'll try putting some cups of water around them and maybe misting them in the mornings.
Thanks : )
