Actually, if 'both ends sound the same', you're definitely from DC.

Pixie - not sure what clan, grandparents last name was Jack and they came from the Glascow area. The family first emigrated to Kansas - but I think the civil war was a bit disconcerting 'cause after 4 years they moved to Ontario. I believe my great-great grandfather's name was Peter Jack.

Pronounced Pita Jack?

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

Pita Jack and his brother Monterey

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Tasty brother, cousin must be Pepper.

I don't know Jack.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

He lives next door to me - but I call him John.

Feel Spring - yeah. The driveway is a mud pit and getting ruts. I might as well just toss 2 or 3 swines out there and let them go. I gotta get out of here and go shopping, I do not see myself going out tomorrow.

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Is it true, a foot of snow tonight? No school likely tomorrow?

South Hamilton, MA

Right Carrie. Boston area seems to be where the most snow is predicted. DH has already swung the mailbox in. It has a rope mechanism that allows it to be bought away from the action of the plows. Snowdrop foliage disappears again.

Grump. Whine whine.
