Garden Layout help

Saylorsburg, PA

I've come across a few "garden layouts" on the internet, they are normally a "purchase this package" kind of thing, but is there a site that allows you to design your own layouts or gives suggestions / example layouts?

I've got a good sized bed that I want to turn into a butterfly / hummingbird garden but have no idea what kind of a layout I should go with :)

There was a series of articles on here a while back about landscape design software--take a look at the first couple articles in the list here http://davesgarden.com/guides/articles/search.php?q=software&submit=Search+articles I find good old fashioned graph paper works best for me though.

Like ecrane I enjoy planning and drawing my own layouts, but if you need suggestions, there is a magazine called Garden Gate which always has layouts in their issues. You might want to check it out. Also the library might have a book with garden layouts.

Better Homes and Gardens has a website where you can print off different Garden plans and the plant list that goes along with it. They even have a Butterfly Garden one which I printed.

Try www.bhg.com/gardenplans

PS

The Butterfly Garden plan is under Easy Garden Plans

Thanks Bobyrd! That is perfect and I'll be using a slightly modified version of the one on that site! Great!!!
