Some snow left here, but mostly in shady places. The ground is still frozen though. But there is hope! I saw 3 bluebirds while walking WonderMutt yesterday.

Coffee Break # 5 - Spring is not too far off!
Bluebirds are so flashy---love them! Today, while eating breakfast, a titmouse landed on our wellhouse to grab some seed I had scattered there---up popped a black cat, & took a swipe at the bird--he missed. That wellhouse is fairly deep---he really leaped up--so did I---had the front door open & was giving the cat a scolding--I think he belongs across the road---that's where he took off to, anyway.
Thats such good news to us northerners.
Cadinal mating calls are what we have.
Just started thinking about plant names that we won't see. Like:
Pinus 'Envy'
Thuja 'Wanna Dance?'
Dutchman's Pipe 'Phelps'
Fallopia tubers
I'll think of some more. Please add to the list.

I stopped at the restaurant near Fairweather on Monday to make sure I could find the place and they had 'Key Lime" pie. I asked about it and they said it is a regular. SOOO, does that influence you? I may go to the shopping days at Fairweather in March, too. I'd like to see the plants, cuz I know there are more I'd like besides the few I ordered already. I just want to get outside.
