I've had this bush for several years and never noticed before now it seems to be putting out babies, about a foot a way from the plant.
I wonder if this is the case, that there's a connecting root between the main plant and the new baby....that I can cut this connecting root and move the baby somewhere else.....
or is this new plant started from flowers that have dropped and seeds have sprouted.
I'm not familiar with how this bush grows and propagates. I thought to have duplicate plants I would have to cut new growth and treat with root tone (or whatever it's called).
Thanks for your help
Help with the bush called Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
From what I've experienced, they start new ones both by seeds and by runners.
I;ve dug up runners and transplanted them and they did fine. Seed lings appeared several feet away and I did the same thing, so you should be able to do either one.
I'd just like to say it's a very pretty plant :)
and how right you are !
