Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

sorry you were hurt sherrie

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Ouch! Feel better, Sherrie. A good friend of mine took a spill on the ice recently too. Another reason to want spring!

I am OK everyone.. Thanks though.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

ouch!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

oh that stinks... hope it's not too bad Sherrie

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Ouchie Sherrie! Those kinds of falls - in my experience - always hurt worse the next day. Is there a hot bath in your future? A heating pad, or electric blanket? You tense up a million tiny little muscles you didn't know you had and the next day they start screaming at you!

No bath ( hate them ) No heat... This is minor and schicken is 1 tough bird.

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Yay, I'm glad, Sherrie.

I had what I thought was minor bump into a cast iron railing last spring and I was ok that night but I had a black and blue spot on my arm the size of TX that hurt like heck for a week! I usually think I'm tough but I wasn't that time.

Essex Junction, VT(Zone 4a)

owies!! I hope you're ok in the morning - that'll be the real test :(

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

tough Schicken!

LOL

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

noted - not a tough OLD bird

Oviedo, FL(Zone 9b)

Well, take care of yourself. Carrie's got the right of it. i slipped and landed in a snowbank when I was doing the driveway in one of the last snowstorms and it didn't hurt then, but that evening and the next day. Yikes! I also landed on my kiester. but my shoulders hurt as did muscles in my legs.
Martha

The saying - No pain No gain. Well I gained something, a couple of pounds.

Oviedo, FL(Zone 9b)

Back to eggs. I use dill all the time {my own home grown, if I have a good year} in place of salt in our eggs. That and a dash of Mrs. Dash. You can also use sprigs of dill to decorate if you are making these for the party crowd. I don't usually decorate for the tailgaters, since the eggs barely make it to the food table as it is.
Martha

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Do you all cut the eggs in half or cut a little cap off the end? I've always cut in half, but DIL cuts a little cap off, so you get more and it doesn't fall apart as easily.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I had to skim over everyone's deviled eggs talk...just the thought of them makes me go "ick"

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Sorry, LOL

South Hamilton, MA

I ick about a lot of things, mainly seafood, but I like deviled eggs.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I like eggs but not deviled or egg salad.
I LOVE seafood!

South Hamilton, MA

WI where I grew up is too far inland for that sort of thing.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Food is one my most fav inventions. I luv it all.

Thomaston, CT

I'll second that! Except for the seafood part---tuna salad & clam chowder are the only 2 I eat---and my parents loved seafood---my siblings eat some types of fish, but not all. But they are better than I am.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Ever had lobster bisque?

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

see food - eat food

Yes. Down in FL. I had (spelled wrong) seafood Boulabaise. It even had octo - puss in it.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Me too on the seafood - only tuna for me.

South Hamilton, MA

I will eat tuna & scallops, also the bay of Maine shrimp. but that's it. We all are fussy aren't we.

Poughkeepsie, NY(Zone 6a)

I loves me some tuna, crab legs, lobster and shrimp. I could eat shrimp all day!

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

I don't think I've had seafood that I don't like. Except maybe squid tentacles.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Whoa - I did not see that as tentacles at first!

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

Those are much more rare.(8 times)

I love seafood, landfood and airfood

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

heehee

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Me too Dave, I'm not too picky, (except for the egg salad and deviled eggs)

What would your last meal be?
Mine would be roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

Lobster, artichokes,& cous cous

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Unfortunately for most, it's IV.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Dave, Really?

I'm talking if you were on death row and had to choose your last meal.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Pot roast with carrots and mashed potatoes, followed by lasagna.

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

Jen, I would stretch that sucker out. Have all of the above (I really like them) Zuppe de Pesce, Filet mignone, Pork roast, then I'd be ready for an entre...

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

For dessert - chocolate mousse, lemon meringue pie and cheese cake.
