These 3 stayed up in the tree watching me!
DAILY PICS VOL. 179
Bsharf, excellent heron photos.
Nanny, sorry about that lot. We're seeing the same thing here with the brush and tree removal. Our deer and other wildlife will soon disappear and it's so sad. Great photos!
Great pictures everyone.
Sorry to hear about the lot being cleared Nanny. That is a real bummer.
I am so thankful that I live out in the country surrounded by Amish farms for the most part! Makes for rather inconvenient travel conditions in the winter, and some really interesting smells from time to time, but I would not trade it for anything!
GG
Nice pics wallaby, bsharf, duc, Elphaba and nanny!
Busy gang!!! Looks like everyone are having a good time birding.
So sorry to hear about that lot being sold Nanny. Poor wildlife, habitat being destroyed again.
Wallaby I like that last shot of the Pheasant.
Bsharf, love the fact your near water sources, wonderful birds pic.
Love your series Duc.
Hairy Woodpecker with an Evening Grosbeak.
I just adore those Evening Grosbeaks burn. Wish they were here.
Cross posted Burn..love the Hoary Redpoll!!
Looks good to me luvs!
BTW, I saw a Golden-crowned Kinglet the other day. Wasn't quick enough to get a shot though.
Nice Luvs, and thanks Pelle, the Evening an the Pine Grosbeak brightens my yard, this time of year, love their colors.
Sorry about the sale. the builders often clear lots & then people who what to landscape it have to pay to put trees etc. back. Granted it will not be the same, but clear lots often are not what is wished. thankheavens the builder that did our house after we had bought the lot, walked around with us commenting on which trees could be saved. The people across the street didn't like the results since they were great believers in lawn.
Congrats Mrs Ed!
Nice ones nanny!
When I got home there were loads of Grackles in the trees surrounding my backyard. The noise from them was amazing!
I'm sure they thought I was going to fill the platform feeder. Instead I took the platform feeder down and put it away. They left immediately afterward. :-)
I like keeping peanut halves in the Squirrel Buster Plus feeder. The Titmice,Woodpeckers etc. can still have them that way.
Very cool Mrs Ed! They are such adorable birds.
Yah. cuties.
Hey, check out the Hummingbird and butterfly forum for a nesting hummingbird.

Congratulation on the Goldeneye Duck. Those little quackers did the same thing to you as they did to me last summer, swam way across the river, when trying to take their picture.
Mr. Pine Grosbeak.
Yea I saw that. Very cute.
Heehee.
Cute one burn!
We are having a very strange warm up here, Pelle too I'm sure. Hoping the Grackles stay away. I have a funny feeling I will see them soon though!!
Lovely camoflague for the tree sparrow.
Yes, supposed to get in the low 60's today. :-)))))
56 here.. woo hoo!
Yes, we had warm weather for a while and snow melted. Makes for a muddy yard. But starting to get cold now, in the 40s today and tomorrow, then 30s, then down in the 20s by sunday. *sigh*
I think next week we're supposed to have snow. :-(
Yah, us too! Oh well, I'm glad to have had these few days of warmth.
