Hello everyone! I hope this is alright to post in this forum (if not I really apologize!).... I'm coordinating a men's gardening education group through a local non-profit, with the basic idea of gathering a group of men together who wish to share energy, knowledge and skills around gardening. The idea is to meet one or two times a week to work on each other's gardens, community gardens, and to start new plots. We'll be focusing on the empowerment that comes with growing your own food, and getting some really great hands-on education from some local gardening experts.
So, I'm basically posting this here to see if any men from this forum might be interested in this group (or, if you've been in the business a while, maybe being a mentor!). If so, please give me an email (rollinb2@gmail.com) and I would love to share some more info.
I'm also hoping to get some seed donations for the participants, if anyone has any leads on that!
Thanks so much!!

Sounds like a great idea you have. If I lived closer, I'd help you !
Try going to some nurseries near you and ask the owners if you could post a flier with the info. on it for some free "advertising".
Your local paper would probably let you write an article to generate interest too.
