Some streps are just stronger growers than others and Sylvia is a strong one!

I simply love to get strep leaves so I have surprises. This is Bristol's Mom's Plant.

Someone must have sent a leaf because she looks like Bristol's Party Girl and I have never had a Party Girl.
Is she something else?

As a plant, she is 'kinda wooly and wild looking with slender leaves.

Frederick, MD(Zone 7a)

Oooohs and aaaahs for these beauties. I'm having a strep attack.

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

Oh no! Call the doctor for ABT!

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

Phoebe,
I never met a strep I didn't love, so get started on your collection.........^_^

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

Only a few Gail...and I really shouldn't. Might have to feed them to the rabbit if they grow too large! heh-heh! There's a couple on ebay I like if they are not floppers, but I'm too tired to go back and get their names right now--Iput them on watch status.

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

You can keep a strep any size you want it? I have to trim mine in order to have room for all of them, but that is great with me. Propagating is my favorite thing to do.

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I am so excited that when I was potting up babies today, I realized that I had kept a leaf of Dracula's Shadow! She has always been one of my favorite Thompson streps. I found a picture of her when she was little and then somehow I lost or sold her!

This is small bloom but she gets very very large like Azure Giant.

That is amazing Gail--glad you found it! Hey...been awhile since Jim checked in--wonder if his laptop tanked. I miss him!

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I miss him, too, for several reasons. (LOL) I have some unidentified streps and need him.

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

What a pretty african violet. Is it a new acquisition? Lucky you if true.

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

Yeah--can't take credit for those blooms, but I can for these...
