When I was living in Cincinnati we had a pond in the back of building that I worked in and people would go out there to walk over lunch--the geese were a big problem in the spring, they were really mean and would chase you and hiss at you. A lot of people didn't go walking back there during goose nesting season because the geese were too aggressive. It got to the point where the company actually started bringing in border collies on weekends to chase the geese, figuring this would make it a little less hospitable environment for them. (Talk about a dream job for a dog...getting to chase geese all day!)
Who let the frogs out?
Not much fun for the geese though. Yes, they can be nasty if you get close to their nesting place. These two are getting used to me being in the yard. They just keep an eye on me and go about their business. I don't think they've got eggs, they're pretty much near the pond all the time.
