Hi! I'm from the Philippines. Just wondering if Forget Me Not Flowers would grow in our soil & what's the best time of the year/season should it be planted. Thanks for your enlightenment.
Forget Me Not Flowers
What zone do you live in?
Forget-me-nots may grow in the Philippines, but make sure they are in the shade. They don't like direct sun and I'm guessing it can get pretty warm where you are. Try putting them at the foot of a tree - they like woodland areas.
I think you can plant them pretty much any time in the Spring, but the seed packet will tell you more precisely (assuming you're growing from seed).
They generally self-seed and multiply from year to year quite reliably, so I hope you have success. Good luck.
hey i grew up in the philipies my parents were missionaries well the philipines does not realy have a spring . you would prolly be better off planting in a container probably closer to the rainy seaso when its not so hot although i seem to have good luck with it here in the heat . but if you plant it in the rainy seaso dont let it get to wet or it might drown like i said if you start from seed start it indoors them plant in to a pot and move it out doors in a shady area and you should do fine:)
Well, since I've never been anywhere near the Philippines, I bow to your greater experience! :)
