Hi! I don't know if I'm a beginger so much as a never really expanded person.

I don't have plants at home because of my cats. One i dont' want ones that are harmful and my Poppy boy will prob eat anything! lol But i dont' want to take chances of a "new" litter box either!

So my desk at work is my plant area.

I have a small ficus, about a foot tall. some type of fern, it was just cute at the grocery store so it's going like crazy. my spider of course!

then i have a pathos i put in a huge pot with large climbing poles (about 3 feet!) and have it climbing up the poles, everyone comments on it.

Let,s see... looking around and scratching head..... Oh An elephant ear, a peace lily, a boston fern (which needs some serious help!) and some kind of ivy.
Oh and my favorite! A china Doll. She's only about 6 inches tall though at this point.

I did just add as a joke though a coffee plant that is in a coffee mug.

sigh.

too much too water! But lots of people stop by my desk just to look around!

you may want to try some African Violets. They do very well with the fluorescent lighting in an office. I have had them for years in mine.
