I just happened to spot this Carolina Wren out on the suet basket. The pic was taken at a very bad/odd angle off to the side thru the sliding door.

I had a new visitor......and I have already had to replace feed in the feeder. These birds maybe small but they eat a lot! BTW if I ID a bird wrong yall will correct me right?

Your ID is right Henygirl. I love these little guys, but you're right, they do gobble up the food.

Dover AFB, DE(Zone 7a)

I have about 20 of those pigs. LOL In summer I have about 30 of the goldfinch piggys too.

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

I am just noticing how much they eat...and they eat peanuts too!! Never noticed that before! lol

Nice pics guys!

Katy, TX(Zone 8b)

I don't mind the pigs: if they are hungry they eat. What I hate are the wasters: they go to a feeder and if it isn't exactly what they want they start throwing the seed out. That frosts me good.

The Junco's seem to be content to clean up after the Flinches. The Junco's so far are eating the leftovers in the snow and the stuff on the ground. I havent noticed a bunch of bathroom breaks YET either....so keeping my fingers crossed it doesnt get to nasty out there. At first I thought they were eating snow. :)

Dover AFB, DE(Zone 7a)

I scatter seed on the ground for them and others. They stay all day until about a half hour before dark.

Morgantown, WV(Zone 6a)

Okay, thanks to yall I noticed another today. We cut open an orange that was too mushy for us and I sat the good part out in the platform feeder. I hung the suet up and got some new birds today.
