I've oohed and aawed at your pictures Judy. What a sight!
Hello my sistahs!
Loving this nice day the Lord has given us.
Still altering Jockeys. :(
Why not take them back to the store, if they were defective in the first place?
LK
I have no problem flying! I love to be above the clouds and look down on marshmallow fluff! Even a thunder storm is pretty!
Morning everyone.
I agree it is a beautiful view, but I MUST take the drammine, or I spend the time in the rest room. You ever try to get on your knees in that tiny place??? My kids love to go to six flags for the rides, and I can't do that either.
LK
Morning to you too.
How you doing today?
You know, it's weird. I get sick on rides, in cars, pretty much everywhere but not in a plane. I wonder why?
LK
I am so glad you liked everything. I read your likes and looked all over the web for things I thought would make you happy. So, I done good?
Cathy
Valebtine scents came today:
Moonlight Path (BBW type)
Fresh Cut Roses
Vanilla Flowers
Butterfly Kisses
Cinnamon & Cedar
Judy, Susan and Deborah you are at the point where I turned in the tootsie pops for bowls full of peeled baby carrots, celery sticks and now they have the spray butter so you can have bowls and bowls of popcorn!!
Oh Cindy Cinnamon and Cedar sounds wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t mind flying at all, it is the take off and landings that I don’t like!
Need to run to JoAnn's and get trim for the latest Santa then pick up DH for lunch....
Waving to all~~~~~~~~~~~~ talk to ya later!
Susan... did you get your 2009 gifts?????? That should lift you out of the doldrums!! Hope you like them.
Cathy.. how are you today? What did your doctor said about your back? Take it easy will you.
Judy, I'm gonna try to call you this afternoon.. if not tomorrow. When Kel returns, he had suggested looking for another tv tonight.... might swing to a crafts store :D
Hi Cody!!
Crissy, plane rides don't bother me, it's the take off that bother my overly sensitive ears. The pressure was just too much.. no amount of chewing help neither :( I'd be taking allergy meds to help.. still they'd be in pain.
Audrey, I had flew through a bad thunderstorm.. made a priest next to me knelt in prayers, and a new air steward quit after landing!!
LK, have you chosen a pattern yet? I looked through Quilter's Cache, and it makes me change my mind too often :D
Positive thoughts going out to our Maid M., for a safe trip and no stress with the planning committee. Lolol.. I bet she got fabric on her mind.. so won't be open to new ideas!!
Ok, gonna try to get hold of Judy.. if not back to crafting...... so much to do.. getting all excited about my 7 items.. That's a good sign ain't it? I must be feeling better.
Cindy, do you have banana/strawberry scent?
****Sister Update****
Hello Ladies; No I haven't fallen off the end of the earth but I'm back..I ended up in the hospital on the 6th with a bad case of Pneumonia and ended in the hospital for a week+...
I finally got home today yet still weak.
Oh another note:I would like to Thank Debra AKA-Fleursdefouquet and TCINMB for your gifts..I am sorry that my Thanks has come so late..
Hope you all have a good day.
Banana/Strawberry mixed or seperate? Nope but can order them. I was thinking of ordering strawberry so I can make some Chocolate Covered Strawberries. Will be a first so I don't know what the candle will look like after I'm done. Do have some cherry on hand and Chocolate Syrup, could try that and see how it looks and smells. Guess I'll make some candles.
I can get just about any scent you like even desiger dupes, like Victoria Secrets, Bath & Body Works
Wow Lisa,
I was just tinking about and hadn't seen you post since you signed up for the Valentine swap. You take care. Are you still in the motel?
Cindy
That reminds me, has anyone ever landed in a bunch of cross winds? I did at the beginning of Sept in Denver, the plane would lean this way, then the other way, then this way again as he was landing, seemed to take forever to get to the ground. I was all, The wings are going to touch the ground! We were really swaying!
Your ears are sensitive. Taking off bothers me a little, but nothing like that. It's weird, my dad will get sick watching rides and gets sick on them and in cars and what-not, but not in planes either. Funny how we all react differently
I hope your pneumonia gets better soon! Dave had Walking Pneumonia for 2 weeks before he went to the dr, then refused lung X-Rays and the nurse didn't know how to operate the breathing machine, the dr was on vacation that week. I guess his oxygen level was down to 1%, he should have been hospitalized, probably refused that too!
Lisa, glad to see you post. If you could, can you post pictures of your gifts from Tina? She's your 2009 swap buddy. Us nosey sistahs would love to see what you got.. Us nosey sistahs too would want you to get better.. so sorry you're going through so much.. let's pray the rest of the year will get easier for you, financial and health wise.
Experienced that when the plane was trying to land at Kai-Tak in HK (before it closed)... the runway was just next to the sea.. think the rest of the passengers were all practising their faiths then, Crissy. :D
Strawberry-banana Cindy... Banana's a good scent too.
Got hold of Princess Judy.. I love it when I get to talk to ANY of you!!!
Got those cross winds in OK City.......not a lot of fun!!!!
Left Taipei just as a typhoon was approaching........that flight to Tokyo was the worst I have ever had.....I was doing okay until they served breakfast.....took one look at that thing they called an omelet and one of the attendants and I were fighting to get in washroom at the same time.........that is when I started to worry.....if the attendants were getting air sick and and being told to buckle in......it was time for some serious prayer. Never was so happy to set foot on the ground as after that trip!!!
WHOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Two weeks! WAY TO GO, JUDY GIRL!!!!!!!!
Lisa, my gosh you were sick! Sorry we didn't know where you were so we could send you cards. Glad to hear you are back home. Hope some of the items fit you but if you're as tiny as Kim said they may not.
I sent a D-mail to plantRN this morning, but I haven't heard anything from her yet. Has anyone talked to her lately? Do you think she is ok?
Cathy
Well I went for a nice 3 hour nap and when I woke up I had a nice present waiting for me.... It is/was from Jaye, and I can't thank you enough..... They are so cute... I got a beautiful turtle pillow and then a nice turtle/sea clock and then a shot glass. I would be doing the happy dance but that takes to much energy...LOL So I am doing the very big smile face.... Here are pictures of what I got... Jaye, I can't thank you enough. I love all of them....
Hugs,
Susan
The get together on Memorial Weekend, is it a RU, and is it in Texas?
I go to the neurosurgeon on the 26th of this month. Will find out then if I have to have surgery or get some nerves cut and cauterized.
I would really love to go, but it all depends on my back. It sucks to get old. Things start breaking or falling off or leaking.
Cathy
P.S.
I am getting my middle name changed to Klutz this year.
Nope, Cathy... it's not an RU... it's just a get together... for us to finally meet face to face. BUT, if you have extra plants, and want to bring them with you... I'm sure someone will find a way to take them home. I might have some to send to a new home too... But, I won't know until Spring get's here.
I'm going good Linda Kay just trying to stay warm.
Hi Jaye hope you are feeling better.

Ah, children. A woman knows all about her children. She knows about dentist appointments and romances, best friends, favorite foods, secret fears and hopes and dreams.
A man is vaguely aware of some short people living in the house.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
A married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two people remembering the same thing!
Hmmm... Cindy, they should be happier people... women do the worrying for them!! Lolol!!!
Susan, can you take a picture of just the clock.. I think I'm disappointed with the clock. :( Do hope you like the shot glass for your ehem.... beverage of choice.. and that pillow to rest your tired head.. You got more coming, but they might be much later as they will be hand made by me :D
Cathy please keep us posted with what's going on with you. Hope you have the best neurosurgeon taking care of you. AND you're not going to drive that ATV all the way to BJ's with your bad back.. you hear!!!!
Cody, it's supposed to be in the teens here soon. Electric blankets coming out!!! PTL for them!!!
Tina.. you still didn't tell us how you're faring. BTW, do you have any pictures of what you had sent Lisa.. perhaps you could describe the gift for us?

Just got back, not a productive shopping event. It's not productive when I can't stop at a craft store!

Cathy, you did more than good! I was so surprised, at all the things I kept pulling out of the boxes! Thank you again.
